Hello stranger! You've missed so much fun here too.

It's BBC4 so it will be repeated, a number of times. But just watch it on iPlayer?

Lot of iPlayer is blocked out here :( "Not available in your region" is a really annoying phrase...

There are ways, allegedly, to watch live British TV (and everything else) though :)

Ah very good . 1:25am for those that like staying up !
It was very good but could have been a half hour longer.
They didn't cover much about how he got into the 'scene' in the Laurel canyon days and the early albums like Closing Time. Some good interview moments though . Also saw Nitin Sawhney for the first time, some good comments.

Didn’t notice you had gone, just thought you had not posted for some time.
I think the main reason why Europeans no longer want to travel to the USA is the big time difference. For me, it's now 7pm. In the USA it's now 1933.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

I saw the documentary and recorded it on set-top box's HDD. Which failed a year later.
In the end, it's all physics...

I never got to see it.

I've just finished reading a good book about Mr. Waits though, 'Low Side of the road' by Barney Hoskyns .

Talking of Tom Waits, I've just found this excellent breakdown of guitarists that he's worked with over the years. Really worth watching IMO.
